Exmortis 2 is the sequel to the original "Exmortis" point-and-click adventure game. Ben Leffler developed it and it was released in 2006. The game has a dark, eerie atmosphere with spooky architecture and an enigmatic plot. As a survivor of a battle, you must traverse the eerie environment and solve puzzles to unravel the Exmortis' mysteries.
The player manipulates the world and the many items on the screen by clicking and dragging their mouse across the display. The player has the ability to move the cursor about the screen and click on various things in order to investigate them, use them, or pick them up. In addition, there is a point-and-click style of combat included in the game. In this mode, the player must aim and fire at the Exmortis in order to defeat them.
